Testimonials

  • ”Lil' Blue is our wonderful cart-pulling mini horse who loves to meet people and drive them in his cart. He is older and can be stiff and tight in his hips and back legs. First of all, he loved all the massaging and body work. Multiple yawns, sighs, and licking and chewing throughout each session. In the later sessions, he offered his front legs to be worked on and pressed his head into Kate’s gentle hands. The trust was so apparent and his suppleness and looseness was easily felt by us. Our boy was so happy for each session and didn’t seem to want the time to be over. The bodywork she provided was amazing, and the caring relationship connection was beautiful to watch progress." - Diana Anderson

  • “Kate of Grounded Equine Bodywork is the only bodyworker I'll use for my horses! She is kind, intuitive, passionate, and gentle. My very sensitive PSSM OTTB loves her energy work and microcurrent to gently guide his body in the right direction and support it as it recovers. She has done 100% of the bodywork in my mare's life and she couldn't be happier about it. She looks forward to every session with Kate and is always looser and feeling amazing afterwards! I am extremely grateful for the time, love, and care Kate puts into every single session with their best interests at heart. She treats them as her own, which any horse will love." - Tara Wall

  • “Kate lives, breathes, and loves horses – and horses tend to exhale deeply when Kate shows up to the barn. Putting your horse in her hands is the easiest of decisions. Kate saw my horse for 5 sessions as part of the Structural Integration series. When I have bodyworkers out to see him, I always feel like I need to apologize and make disclaimers because he is anxious, tense, and will bite. Kate was so patient and met him where he was on a given day. The sessions were modified dynamically to meet his needs. He demonstrated big releases during the sessions, as well as increased relaxation and improved posture in the following days. Kate understands that the bond you have with your horse can deepen the impact of the bodywork outside of sessions, and therefore also showed me some techniques to use daily. This spirit of collaboration seems effortless for Kate. Highly recommend her for equine bodywork." - Carolyn Monroe
